Acer announces AcerNAV, their new standard GPS app
Today Acer announced its AcerNAV application which will be included on all of their Liquid smartphone devices. The AcerNAV application is a complete GPS-system based on TomTom and also uses the TripAdvisor POI-database. This app will bring a lot of extra value to the Liquid phones. Besides turn-by-turn navigation users will also be able to use offline maps including European maps and later on Asian maps as well.
The phones that will receive the AcerNAV are the Liquid Jade, Liquid Z500 and Liquid E700.
