Action rescue platformer Firegirl announced during Guerilla Collective
Thunderful Publishing and Dejima Games’ upcoming title Firegirl already sounds like it has a pretty unique premise. Combining classic action platforming with roguelite elements and the concept of fighting fires and saving civilians, Firegirl has you take on the role of a starting firefighter in one of the largest stations in the city. Fight fires on a time limit across procedurally generated maps while you simultaneously uncover the truth about the strange influx of fires and who’s causing them. The game looks great and aims to combine retro pixel graphics with next-gen techniques such as dynamic lighting to create superb-looking levels. An exact release date is yet to be announced but we know Firegirl is launching this fall for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
