Adventure Time coming to the big screen
Adventure Time, the popular series on kids channel Cartoon Network, will get its moment of fame on the big screen. In the series, the audience follows the twelve year old boy Finn and his best friend Jake (a dog) in the Land of Ooo.
Chris McKay and Roy Lee will function as the producers for the movie. McKay is known for his work on Warner Bros’ The Lego Batman Movie and The Lego Movie too, owns a great deal from McKay. Cartoon Network Studios and Pendleton Ward will also be involved in the movie making process.
Adventure Time succeeded in winning an Emmy Award for ‘Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation’ and the series also received a BAFTA Award in the category ‘Children’s International’.
