ALS Ice Bucket Challenge reaches video game studios

Everyone has seen someone do the Ice Bucket challenge at least once in the past few weeks. The ALS Ice Bucket challenge came to life in the hopes to raise awareness of ALS – a fatal neurological disorder. In the meantime, the Ice Bucket challenge also raises funds for the Lou Gherig’s disease better known as ALS. Many famous actors have been doing the challenges, including many CBS actors. Now the challenge found its way into the gaming industry.

The entire Artix Entertainment studio, known for AdventureQuest and MechQuest, got challenged and they graciously accepted it. After gathering their most fearless members of the team, they lined up to become flooded with ice-water. You can find the Artix ALS Ice Bucket challenge video below but be aware that it may cause you some chills as there are some big chunks of ice! Besides successfully completing the challenge, the CEO of Artix Entertainment studio Adam Bohn challenged three other video game studios to do the same, namely Blizzard Entertainment, Rockstar Games and Zynga. Hopefully they will accept the challenge as we are looking forward to the videos of these studios.
