Atelier Ryza launches this Friday!
It’s only a few more days before fans can finally get to grips with Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, the latest entry in the beloved atelier series. Launching across Europe on November 1st, the long-awaited game begins an all-new storyline arc with a beautiful new visual style and exciting new battle mechanics. In the game, players join teenage tomboy Ryza and her friends Lent and Tao as they explore a forbidden island in search of adventure. When the trio encounters the wandering alchemist Empel and his warrior partner Lila, their lives change forever.
The synthesis and battle systems in Atelier Ryza have been completely revamped, with the new synthesis interface clearly displaying required materials and effects that can be added to the final item at a glance. Meanwhile, the new ‘Real-Time Tactical Battle’ system adds mechanics that allow battles to progress even while choosing character actions. There are more exciting new features to be discovered in the game, including customizing your secret hideout and changing the environment based on which items you use in the synthesizing process. The game launches this Friday on PS4, Switch, and Steam. Purchasing the game before November 12th will enable the early purchase bonus “Summer Adventure” costume for Ryza.
