Batman: Return to Arkham sees release in October

Batman: Return to Arkham bundles the remastered versions of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, including all Game of the Year and DLC bonus content. Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced its release date for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, namely October 20th this year.

This announcement comes with a new trailer Batman: Return to Arkham that shows a side by side comparison of the games on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, showcasing the insanely improved graphics and lightning effects. If you thought the PS3 versions looked incredibly, wait until you see the remastered versions of both games in the trailer below.

Batman: Arkham Asylum was the game that kickstarted it all. Originally released by Rocksteady Studios, the game brought the superhero game genre to a whole new level while players connected with the unique and dark atmospheric adventure that caused them to stand against The Joker, Harley Quinn, Bane, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy and of course Scarecrow. Batman: Arkham City was the sequel of Batman: Arkham Asylum and it continued to built upon the intense experience of the previous game while focusing on other villains in the series such as Catwoman, The Riddler, Two-Face, The Penguin and Mr. Freeze. Both storylines are now combined in one game, Batman: Return to Arkham, so it should feature enough content to keep any fan of the Batman-franchise busy for quite a while.
