Belgian Release date for Disney Infinity 3.0 announced
Disney Interactive has announced that the Disney Infinity 3.0 Starter Pack, Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic Play Set included, will be available in Belgium on August 27th 2015. Following products will also be available on the release date:
- Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic Play Set (including Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano figurines) for players who chose to download the Disney Infinity 3.0 software digitally, corresponding separately sold figurines (Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi) and a Power Disc Pack.
- Star Wars Rebels figurines (Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren and Zeb Orrelios)
- The special edition Star Wars Saga Starter Pack exclusively for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
- Disney Pixar’s Inside Out Play Set (including Joy and Anger figurines) and corresponding separately sold figurines (Sadness, Disgust and Fear).
- Disney figurines Mickey, Minnie, Mulan, Olaf, Sam Flynn and Quorra.
- Tomorrowland Power Disc Pack.
Additional Disney Infinity 3.0 Play Sets and figurines will be announced this Fall.
Also starting this Summer the new Toy Box Expansion Games will be available. The Toy Box Expansion Games contain Toy Box Takeover (a dungeon-crawler action game) and Toy Box Speedway (a cart-racing game). Players have to place the Toy Box Expansion Game Piece on the Disney Infinity Base and by doing so unlocking several games who put them right in the middle of the action. Players can also use characters from the complete portfolio from The Walt Disney Company to unlock gadgets and toys to complete missions.
Toy Box Takeover
When Syndrome, the villain for the Disney Pixar animation movie The Incredibles, gets his hands on Merlin’s magical wand, it is up to the players to stop him. Together with their favourite characters from Disney Infinity, players have to fight their way through several worlds like the one from Pirates of the Caribbean, Marvel’s Upper Manhattan, The Old West or the Volcano Liar from The Incredibles to defeat the bad guys before they can destroy the Toy Box once and for all. Players can also complete the missions together with friends and family thanks to the two-player co-op mode and the online four-player mode.
Toy Box Speedway
Players can play with their favourite Disney, Disney Pixar, Marvel’s and Star Wars characters and vehicles in an action-packed cart-racing game. Players have to choose out of 3 different game modes including a Time Trial mode, Race mode and Combat mode. Players have to show off their driving talents, attack enemies with gadgets and weapons and also collect trophies throughout 3 challenge cups.

- Sugar Rush (Wreck-It Ralph)
- Frozen
- Tatooine, one of the most popular planets from the Star Wars universe
- San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6)
- Agrabah (Aladdin)
- Monsters Inc.
- Halloween Town (The Nightmare Before Christmas)
- Gravity Falls
- Marvel’s Knowhere (The space station from Guardians Of The Galaxy)
The Disney Infinity 3.0 Starter Pack contains the Disney Infinity 3.0 Base and videogame software, the Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic Play Set, the figurines Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker and an online code which can be used to obtain content for PC and Mobile devices.
The videogame Disney Infinity 3.0 and it’s Base are necessary to play the Toy Box Expansion Games. Toy Box Takeover and Toy Box Speedway are sold separately.
All figurines and power discs from Disney Infinity 1.0 and 2.0 are compatible with Disney Infinity 3.0 in the Toy Box 3.0
