Bloober Team shows of its talented cast for The Medium with soundtrack release
Bloober Team are not newbies when it comes to the horror genre. Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, and Observer are all successful entries on their resume, and The Medium is shaping up to be the same. Stepping in the shoes of Marianne, the player has the use her medium abilities to shift between worlds and solve puzzles in this upcoming psychological thriller. Today Bloober Team presented some of the talented cast members who will be working on the game. Voice actor veteran Troy Baker – famous from Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us, among many other roles – will be playing the role of The Maw, a malevolent spirit world entity and the main antagonist of the game. Bloober Team also reunited singer Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and composer Akira Yamaoka, who have already worked together before to create haunting soundtracks for the Silent Hill series. To celebrate this fact, PC players can download the first track of The Medium for free through Steam. The game will be released on both PC and Xbox Series X near the holidays of this year.
