Borderlands 2 – Soon in VR!
Borderlands 2 VR will be released on December 14 this year for PlayStation VR! Step into the world of Pandora with Sony’s Virtual Reality headset, and enjoy all the new aspects of the game the VR edition has to offer!
Borderlands 2 is a first-person shooter action RPG, set in an open world. The game has been developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games, and was first published in 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Mac. Later it has been released for the PS Vita and Linux as well, and it will now be released for Playstation VR. Borderlands 2 has been a great success, just like its predecessor. You play as a vault hunter, a treasure seeker, on the world of Pandora. You can choose between up to 6 classes, and play the story campaign either singleplayer of with up to four friends.
The VR version of the game does not only offer an immersive experience, but also new features like Bad Ass Mega Fun Time (BAMF Time), where you can slow time. Next to that you’ll be able to teleport or glide around the world, whichever movement mode you prefer. The fighting skills of all characters have been modified as well to fit the VR- functionalities, to offer the most immersive experience! You’ll also be able to drive vehicles in first-person perspective; you’ll steer with your headset, and accelerate with your joystick. However, Borderlands 2 VR will be singleplayer only.
