Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia – Coming to the Switch!
Good news for Switch owners and Brigandine fans!
Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia is going to be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in June 2020 worldwide. The classic Brigandine game is finally back with a new turn-based strategy game set in the same familiar fantasy world. In the continent of Runersia, which was created by the Rune God, six countries have waged a war to conquer and unify the land under one nation.
A long time ago, five Mana Stones were brought forth by Runersia and passed through history alongside human nations. Eventually, special Brigandine equipment was made with the Mana Stones embedded in them which made Rune Knights. These Knights can wield the mana power and stones embedded into their armor to cast skills and magic as well as summon and control ancient monsters. The six countries of Runersia have conflicting ideals, beliefs and faiths are divided by Brigandines of Justice, Glory, Freedom, Sanctity, and Ego with the sixth country existing without Brigandine.
Players will make their own legends by selecting a country and creating their army of Rune Knights. The goal is to win battles and to expand their country’s influence until the entire continent of Runersia is under their control. To achieve this, players will be able to command more than 100 Rune Knights and be able to lead different monster troops of various, dragons, ghouls, and fairies. The battles will play out on hexagonal grid maps with a tactical turn-based battle system.
Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia will be released for the Nintendo Switch on the 25th of June 2020 worldwide.
