Chill life sim Spirit of the Island announced
New, chillaxing life sim Spirit of the Island was just announced by META Publishing and Brazilian solo developer Alex Kikuchi and it is set to release this very same year!
The story-driven life sim RPG Spirit of the Island will be released on PC in 2021, with a Kickstarter campaign set to launch soon. If the campaign goes well, the extra funds will be used to develop console versions and cross-platform multiplayer support.
Inspired by relaxed gaming experiences like Stardew Valley, Moonlighter, Animal Crossing, and Legend of Zelda, Spirit of the Island doubles down on story elements in a life sim RPG. Help the local town to become a thriving tourist destination and discover your past.
Spirit Of The Island features crafting, management, and building mechanics, and it will take players to the tropical island. The former tourist paradise now lays in ruins, and the few people that still inhabit it need all the help they can get.
You will meet new friends, lend a hand with the restorations, and contribute to turning your island back into the popular attraction it once was.
