Cinema Release: Into The Woods
Walt Disney Pictures first theatrical adaptation of a Broadway musical play will be released on December 31st 2014. The story revolves around a baker and his wife, and the witch that cursed them both. It uses elements from well-known stories such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel.
It is based upon the original Steven Sondheim musical with the same name and will feature an elaborate cast of famous actors: Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Johnny Depp and more.
It will be directed by Rob Marshall, who you might know from his Oscar winning picture Chicago.
