Dark Lord: The Duel Kickstarter Project
Dark Lord: The Duel is an upcoming Kickstarter project by Sad Jester Games (RYG, I’m Falling), featuring an action adventure sidescrolling platformer. Set in a multidimensional temple filled to the brim with evil foes and dangerous traps, the game will have players face their own fears in a final confrontation with an evil lord who is controlling their destiny. Dark Lord: The Duel drops players into the heat of the battle, in the middle of a never-ending duel, focusing on one arena, one protagonist, one archenemy.
While minimalistic, the game’s art style seems to be perfect fuel for nightmares, and the narrative premise isn’t any less macabre. Check out the trailer and first in-game screenshots here, and the game’s website here. The project will come to Kickstarter in March.
