Darksiders Genesis introduces the fourth Horseman
If you’re a Darksiders fan, you’ll be thrilled to find out that a slew of new information, including launch dates, has been revealed for the upcoming Darksiders Genesis by THQ Nordic and Airship Syndicate. The highly anticipated entry in the series is the first top-down action-adventure in the franchise’s history and features both couch and online co-op. Darksiders Genesis features the debut of the fourth and final Horseman, Strife. Strife battles alongside his brother and fellow Horseman, War in the first-ever Darksiders co-op mode.
Don’t fret if you don’t have a buddy to play with: you’ll be able to alternate between the two characters in solo mode, switching between Strife’s ranged attacks and War’s melee-focused abilities on the fly. Both characters can build up a special attack meter that when activated temporarily turns them into a colossal creature that leaves epic destruction in its wake. The game launches on PC and Stadia first, on December 5th. If you’re eager to get to grips with the game on PC, there’s a 15% discount if you pre-order the game. Console gamers will have to wait until February 14th, 2020.
