DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation – to be released in June!
The romantic visual novel game ‘DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation’ is planned to be released for PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) this June! The the story of Date A Live is based on the popular light novel series from Fujimi Fantasia Bunko, which inspired three anime adaptations and an anime movie.
Thirty years have passed since large disasters called spacequakes began to occur, which were caused by the appearance of mysterious entities known as Spirits. Shido Itsuka, an otherwise unremarkable young man, encounters a Spirit with a grudge against humanity. Shido is later told by his younger sister, Kotori, that he alone possesses the ability to seal the power of a Spirit. Shockingly, however, that ability is “date the Spirit, and make them fall in love”…?! In order to protect the world, and to save the Spirits, Shido is determined to do whatever he can. No matter the obstacle, he is ready to face the Spirits head-on!
Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation features 11 characters to choose from, and over 150 dating events. The choices you make with each girl can affect your overall destiny. All standing portraits that players interact with will breathe, blink, and react to your conversations: the heroines feel more realistic than ever! Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation will also feature two PS3 games; Date A Live: Rinne Utopia and Date A Live: Arusa Install.
