Drats, rats in A Plague Tale: Innocence
As if France in 1349 wasn’t an already rather dreary place enough as a setting for an adventure game, you go on a journey with siblings Amicia and Hugo during the period of the Black Death, also known as bubonic plague.
It’s up to you to make sure that the duo gets out alive of the scene of gore and death. That they don’t become another dead body to be piled on the already massive mounds of rotting corpses, to be nibbled away at by the swarming hordes of rats.
The game is developed by Asobo Studio and will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2019.
