Europa Universalis IV is getting third expansion
Paradox today revealed a new expansion for Europa Universalis IV. Already the fourth entry in the series right now and it’s getting its third expansion. The award-winning game is a real-time strategy title focused on empire-building and conquering the world. The expansion is called Res Publica and will add all sorts of new game features.
The new features will primarely add new ways to manage your empire. A new faction called the Merchant Republic will allow players to create new trade posts and a chance to exploit the Dutch Republic. A new government type, Dictatorship, will allow you to decide between power or republic tradition in in-game events and opportunites. You’ll also be able to back heirs in Elective Monarchies to boost your growth.
Expect Res Publica for Europa Universalis IV this summer for PC, Mac and Linux.
