The original Bubble Bobble dates from 1986, so plenty of people who are now into games might not even have been born when this game first came out. Still, it managed to collect quite the fan base over the years, especially in Japan. And after more than 30 years its fans finally have something new to look forward to, with Bubble Bobble 4 Friends being set for release on 19 November. Besides the regular digital version of the game and the normal retail version, Strictly Limited will also take care of two special editions for fans to enjoy. The Limited Standard Edition will feature a special cover and retro box, while the Collectors Edition even adds some exclusive goodies including a hardcover book, the soundtrack of both Bubble Bobble games and artwork. If you’re new to the series, don’t fear: Bubble Bobble 4 Friends actually comes with the original Bubble Bobble included, meaning there are 200 levels for you to discover now.
