Far Cry 5 – Now Available!
Far Cry 5 has been released today for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC! This game has been developed by Ubisoft Montreal, together with Ubisoft Toronto, Kiev, Shanghai, Reflections, Bukarest en Pune.
This first-person shooter is set in an open world, and will take place in America. You’ll play as a new junior-sheriff of the fictional town Hope County in Montana. Your arrival in town will set a series of events in motion, which eventually culminates in a cult named ‘Project at Eden’s Gate’ taking over the town. You’ll put up a resistance against the cult, together with the villagers.
Far Cry 5 can be played cooperatively, and players can create their own maps and scenarios in the Far Cry Arcade. You’ll be able to use assets from the Far Cry series and other Ubisoft games like Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs. These scenarios can be played solo, co-op, or multiplayer.
If you buy the game you’ll be able to choose between the Standard, Deluxe or Gold Edition. Additionally, you can buy a Season Pass, which will give you access to the future DLCs ‘Hours of Darkness’, ‘Dead Living Zombies’ and ‘Lost on Mars’. If you buy the Season Pass on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you’ll receive Far Cry 3 Classic Edition on the 29th of May. If you buy the Season Pass on PC, you’ll receive the complete version of Far Cry 3 on the 29th of May. The Far Cry 3 Classic Edition will be for sale separately from the 26th of June.
