Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers Patch 5.05 out today, adds a huge amount of content
Fans of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers rejoice! Today marks the release of patch 5.05, adding new challenges and exciting content to continue your adventures in the First. This new update introduces the “Savage” difficulty level for the recently released Eden’s Gate raid, a new dungeon to explore and new recipes and items to hone your crafting skills.
A detailed overview of the additions in patch 5.05:
High Level Raid: Eden’s Gate (Savage) – Players seeking a greater challenge can jump into this series of incredibly difficult boss fights.
Treasure Hunt Dungeon: Dungeons of Lyhe Ghiah – Up to eight players can join forces and explore this new instanced dungeon in order to earn rare and unique rewards.
New Tomestone: Phantasmagoria – Players can earn this new currency by completing specific content. It can be used to buy new gear for Disciples of War and Magic.
New crafting recipes – Includes updates for Free Company Crafting and Subaquatic Voyages content.
Adjustments to fighting actions – Adjustments were made to rebalance jobs.
New furniture, items, mounts, minions and more
In addition, the annual seasonal event Moonfire Faire returns on August 7th, bringing the atmosphere of summer to players. By completing event quests, you can earn various rewards. More details regarding this event are to be revealed soon.
