Free gameplay improvements and content updates for Middle-earth: Shadow of War

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a free gameplay improvement for Middle-Earth: Shadow of War today. This in order to give the players the best gaming experience possible. Hundreds of improvements were added. Here are some of the newest:

  • Removal of the market: the market and micro transactions are completely gone. Recruted Orcs are now kept in the garrison and Mirian can now be used to train, upgrade and adjust your personal Orc army.
  • Adjustments in Shadow Wars: the campaign at the end, now called the epilogue, is strongly streamlined and contains a new story of Shelob the wizard-king and Dark Talion. Victory rewards the players with the masks of Nazgûl, unlocks powerful new skills to wake the dead, curse enemies and convoke stronger monsters. Players also possess the possibility to further upgrade and defend their forts and army.
  • More ways to adjust and create a character: the level limiet for followers has gone up to 80 and the one for enemy captains has gone up to 85. Players can also level faster with higher XP rewards for Nemesis missions, defeating captains and Online conquests. New prestige skills are available and offer upgrades of skills. You can also spend Mirian to upgrade equipment to their current level by doing the upgrade challenge.
  • Nemesis improvements: there are more legendary Orcs, more ways to receive training orders and followers can surprise players with a gift every now and then. If there happen to be followers who enjoy helping too much and steal skills, there is now an option to switch off the Savior function.
  • New player skins: players can now enter battle with Sauron as Celebrimbor and relive the first war of Mordor, or battle as Dark Eltariel and Baranor
