Get your hands on the FIRST Roguebook Cards during the Steam Game Festival
The first chapter of the Roguebook adventure is now being written: NACON and Abrakam Entertainment are pleased to announce that the FREE demo of the roguelike deck builder will be available exclusively during the Steam Festival, which runs from February 3 to 9, 2021.
Roguebook was developed by Abrakam Entertainment, the developer of Faeria, and is co-designed by Richard Garfield, creator of Magic: The Gathering. In the enchanting world of Faeria, players can choose 2 of the 4 available heroes to join their own team to brave the legends of the Roguebook, a cursed book whose mere existence threatens all living things.
The free demo lets players explore the subtle details of the Roguebook gameplay, such as the ability to upgrade cards in your deck with gems, or explore the world through the unique ink pot system, not to mention the Tower Deck concept, which puts a whole new spin on the deckbuilding genre. Unlike other deckbuilding games, the goal in Roguebook is to put as many cards as possible in your deck. This way, you can unlock more and more new skills for the teams of two heroes and make explosive use of their synergies!
Players who pre-order Roguebook will be able to continue their adventure in the evil book after the Steam Game Festival and will be released from the Doomed Coin, an artifact that limits the player’s progress. When the full game is released, they will also receive an exclusive costume for each of their heroes.
There will also be various streams of the game that can be viewed during the Steam Game Festival. The first – with Richard Garfield as a special guest – will be released on Wednesday, February 3 at 10 p.m. Check Roguebook‘s Facebook and Twitter pages to see when the other streams will appear.
The complete version of Roguebook will be released on June 24, 2021, for PC (Steam), and later on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
