Halloween arrives early in Killing Floor 2!
It’s October, which means that fans of all things spooky are having the time of their life and game developers are eager to cater to anyone that enjoys the Halloween season. Developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive is starting their Halloween celebrations today, with the launch of the Day of the Zed Halloween update for Killing Floor 2. It features a new featured community map, Netherhold, which drips a sinister atmosphere and style as well as many hidden areas and secret rooms. In addition, players can unlock a Unique Seasonal Reward for completing the five new Netherhold objectives.
New game modes are also included, including Wild West London, a rootin’ tootin’ mode that gives cowboy hats to everyone and limits weapons to revolvers and lever actions. The other new game mode included here is Abandon All Hope which ramps up the difficulty, with max spawn rates, increased spawn pools of heavies, and health and damage output pushed beyond Hell on Earth levels. Players that manage to survive this mode will be rewarded with a special Kriss Elite Skin. The free update is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox One X and PC through Steam and the Epic Games store.
