Halo 2: Anniversary now added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC

Today, 343 Industries announced on Xbox Wire that Halo 2: Anniversary has now been added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC. The game is available now through Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta), Microsoft Store, and Steam.

Halo 2: Anniversary is the sublime remastered version of the original Halo 2 game, released for consoles in 2014 simultaneously with Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Halo 2: Anniversary for PC includes tons of new features, enhancements, and special tweaks for PCs. The game looks better than ever and plays even smoother thanks to a minimum of 60 frames per second and 4K UHD support. Players can also tweak their experience with a good amount of settings provided, including mouse and keyboard features, support for ultrawide monitors, FOV options, etc. For more information, you can visit Xbox Wire and Halo Waypoint.

If you are an Xbox Game Pass for PC (beta) member or have purchased the Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundle, you can now get started with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo: Reach, and Halo 2: Anniversary games. The games that are mentioned are also available separately.
