Halo 5: Guardians headlines greatest games lineup in Xbox history at E3
You’ve read that right, Halo 5 headlines one of the greatest games lineup in Xbox history, next to other blockbuster exclusives such as Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Fable Legends. More info about these other titles will follow.
In Halo 5: Guardians, a mysterious and unstoppable force threatens the galaxy. Unfortunately, Master Chief is missing and his loyalty is being questioned due to this disappearance at such a terrible timing. You can experience the “most dramatic Halo story” in a four-player co-op that spans three worlds or you can challenge friends and rivals in the new multiplayer modes: Warzone and Arena.
The show opened with the world premiere gameplay video which revealed the all-new massive scale multiplayer mode, Warzone in which players can play skirmishes with up to 23 other players. If there are not enough players around, friendly and enemy AI characters will join the fight. Arena, the second multiplayer mode, is much smaller in size but competitive nonetheless. The game mode features a 4vs4 PvP-styled combat.
Halo 5: Guardians will be available exclusively on Xbox One by the end of the year, more specifically October 27th.
