Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger. It follows Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), better known as Captain America, still trying to adjust to life in the modern age. It’s situated after the events of The Avengers. When a mysterious enemy calling himself the Winter Soldier threatens S.H.I.E.L.D. it’s up to Steve, together with the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) to counter the aggression.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is part detective, part summer-blockbuster, meaning that watchers will get a great story, mixed in with well filmed action.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and created by Marvel Studio’s. The direction is in the hands of the Anthony and Joe Russo, who made a name for their selves with Arrested Development.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier comes out on August 13th, on VOD, DVD, Blu-ray™ and Blu-ray 3D™.
