Mortal Kombat Available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD Later In July!

These are the words everyone knows from the popular game franchise of Mortal Kombat. Starting from the old Sega Mega Drive in 1992, the franchise has grown and so have the gore and effects of slaying one’s foe in a truly gruesome way(s). The game’s successful characters have now moved on to the big screen (again).
Mortal Kombat follows MMA fighter Cole Young as he is chased by Outworld’s best fighter Sub-Zero. In his quest for his origins, Cole joins a group of chosen ones who attempt to defend Earthrealm in a battle against Outworld. Can Cole find his arcana – the immense power hidden within his soul – in time and save the world? Or is the world in its entirety soon to be annihilated?
Directed by Australian filmmaker Simon McQuoid, who is making his directorial debut, the iconic characters are played by Lewis Tan (Deadpool 2), Jessica McNamee (The Meg), Mehcad Brooks (Supergirl), and Tadanobu Asano (Midway). The different physical versions will be available for purchase on the 19th of July.
