New trailer sheds some light on the brutal combat in ‘The Surge’
For those of you not in the know about ‘The Surge’, it’s a sci-fi post apocalyptic action adventure game which has taken notes from the ‘Dark Souls’ games. This means that if you’ve ragequitted those games and really can’t stand the sometimes unforgivingly harsh difficulty spikes the games have set, you’d best pass this game up.
If however you are looking forward to a Dark Souls game that doesn’t look like it’s been set in the Dark Ages with an aesthetic that’s reminiscent of an offspring of a flu virus combined with rabies in every enemy in the world, then you’d best mark the 16th of May 2017 in your calendar. That’s when the game hits the stores and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
In the recently released behind the scenes trailer you’re getting a look at the unique sci-fi setting of the game and its very unforgiving and brutal combat.
