Operation Steel Wave revealed for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

Ubisoft has announced a slew of details for the second season for year five of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. Titled Operation Steel Wave, the new season adds two new Operators to the game: attacker Ace from Norway, and defender Melusi from South Africa. Additionally, the House map has been completely redesigned. As usual, the season also brings a bunch of tweaks and changes to Rainbow Six Siege. Players will use the two new Operators on the revised House map. The basement of the map has received a huge expansion. The attic and office tower have received new playable areas and possibilities. Furthermore, a variety of changes ensures that the map integrates seamlessly with Rainbow Six Siege’s existing features.

PC players will be the first to discover the new content, as the test server goes live today exclusively for Windows. Logging on to these servers, players will be able to try out the gameplay changes and improvements for the upcoming season. Do be aware that consistent gameplay cannot be guaranteed while using the test server. Players are encouraged to give feedback on any issues they encounter through Ubisoft’s R6 fix-platform. The full season is set to launch on PC, Xbox One and PS4 soon.
