Original Dragon Quest series makes its way onto Switch
With over a dozen games, not to mention plenty of spinoffs, Dragon Quest is a staple when it comes to JRPG. First released in 1986, this series has been around almost as long as the gaming industry has been. Most recently Dragon Quest XI has introduced many new players into the fantasy world of monster slayers and turn-based adventures. Now Square Enix has announced that those of us lucky enough to have a Nintendo Switch at their disposal, can pick up a little piece of gaming history soon. The original three Dragon Quest games, collectively known as the Erdrick-trilogy, will become available for purchase on September 27 in the online store. So if you are a fan of the classics and JRPG in particular, this may be the perfect opportunity to enjoy some old-school action.
