Party game Slam Land launches today

As of today, Slam Land is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Mac. The surreal competitive party game from Bread Machine Games merges brawling and balling. Slam Land, a land where a God-like giant seeks entertainment in the form of majestic slams. Players smash, grapple and dodge as they vie to dunk each other into hoops on the battlefield ranging from tree hollows to gaping maws. With the possibility to play with up to four friends, you’re in for a fun local multiplayer.

Alongside “Slam” matches, where players race against the clock to score the most points or outlast each other in stock contests, Slam Land sports bunches of brilliant modes. In the hot-potato Peanut Mode you’re goal is to hold on to your nuts as long as possible to multiply your points. Dunk hideous horses to spell H.O.R.S.E. before your friends in the Horse Mode. Or what about the Trash Mode, where you grab garbage, stack trashy sacks and earn bonuses.

Including a dynamic soundtrack, run through hand-painted landscapes and amaze the giant blue man. Bread Machine Games is not responsible for friends that become enemies when dunked too hard. “We hope this game destroys your couch,” says Keith McCullough, creative director, Bread Machine Games. “We hope it never fully recovers.”

Slam Land retails for $7.99 / €7.99 via the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Steam.
