Pebble Time Kickstarter
Pebble returns with a brand new iteration of their popular smartwatch, the Pebble Time. True to their roots of one of the top Kickstarter success stories, this new release will be powered by crowd-funding through Kickstarter as well, with (at the time of writing) already ten times the amount of the goal pledged.
The new Pebble Time will feature a new, full-colour e-paper screen, benefitting battery life which will last up to a full week! You don’t have to be afraid to damage it either, set in a water-resistant stainless steel and watch face made of Gorilla Glass. Also included in the now 20% thinner and curved smartwatch are a microphone, easily detachable wrist straps and a brand new time-line interface. The Pebble Time will come in three colours, exclusive to Kickstarter, and is compatible with most android and iOS smartphones. Distribution is planned for May for Kickstarter backers, with a word wide retail release planned later in 2015.
