Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 to sprout next Spring
Today PopCap Games announced that the battle for Suburbia will continue next Spring with Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2. For the first time in the history of Plants vs. Zombies, the city has been fully taken over by the undead. So take up the greens and get ready to free Zomburbia.
The upcoming game is set to feature:
- characters from past, present and future
- new game modi:
- Herbal Assault, for 24 players in which gamers use their Plants to take on the undead
- Graveyard Ops, a co-op mode for 4 players in which the Zombies need to survive the garden invasion
- crazy, unexpected and unique gameplay-elements
- 12 new maps full of personality and humour, e.g. Time Travel Theme Park and Final Frontier
- six new character classes which include Super Brainz, a Zombie-superhero who thinks he’s an 80’s superstar, and Citron, a bounty hunter orange from the future
- a total of more than 100 playable characters with their very own powers and skills
- free content-updates to keep the game fresh and full of action
- Garden Warfare players will be able to use their unlocked characters at the start of Garden Warfare 2
- versus, co-op and local multiplayer
- all modes will be single player friendly thanks to player-vs-computer battles
