Relive AVICII’s legacy on your console with AVICII Invector
If you’re a fan of legendary Swedish EDM DJ AVICII you’ll be pleased to find out that AVICII Invector launches globally on a multitude of platforms today. The rhythm-action game was developed by Hello There Games in partnership with Wired Productions. It offers a fast-paced rhythm experience that fuses AVICII’s trademark brand of uplifting EDM with serene visual scapes to allow everyone to feel and experience his music in a new way. The release includes a host of enhancements with three never-before-played tracks, plus a new playable world inspired by the album; Tim.
Development started in collaboration with the Swedish DJ, and is now completed with his family in his honor. AVICII Invector has become much more of an homage to his music since his tragic passing in 2018. Set against a backdrop of 25 of his biggest hits, Invector lets players both fly solo and recreate the party feeling of a concert with local split-screen racing. The developers aim to make an impact with their efforts. All of the net proceeds of AVICII’s music will go directly to the Tim Bergling Foundation, which advocates for the recognition of suicide as a global health emergency and promotes removing the stigma associated with discussing mental health issues. Additionally, Wired Productions and Hello There games will make a donation to mental health charity Safe In Our World for each unit sold. AVICII Invector is out today on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
