Relive the magic of Roald Dahl’s The Witches at home
The Witches, Warner Bros Entertainment’s adaptation of the beloved classic by master storyteller Roald Dahl can soon be added to your movie collection. Generations of children have grown wary of uptight ladies that scratch their heads after reading Dahl’s iconic tale. When Luke (Jhazir Burno) and his grandmother (Octavia Spencer) are forced to run away from witches, they seek refuge at the luxurious Imperial Island Hotel. Unfortunately, this happens to be the same hotel where the grand witch (Anne Hathaway) is gathering her coven to set in motion her plan to exterminate all human children. The new adaptation of this black humor-filled story will take you to 1960’s Alabama and will let you experience how director Robert Zemeckis returns the witches to life. Both versions feature deleted scenes, and the Blu-ray version adds a slew of additional content as well.
