Star Conflict Releases New Class of Spacecraft, Ship Evolution and More
In the new update, aptly named Evolution, for the free-to-play MMO Star Conflict, players will be given access to a whole new class of ships in the form of the Ellydium Corporation’s crystalline vessels. These new spacecraft, made up partly of human technology and partly of specially grown alien crystal, will enable players to evolve their ships between highly distinctive variations and upgrade specific special modules and weapons. Unlike most ships in Star Conflict, ranking will depend on your particular evolutionary stage and can be changed or reversed at a moments notice.
Also included will be a new space station made by the new ships creators, named Ellydium Theta. Located in an unusual and dangerous part of the universe, Ellydium Theta will provide a whole host of new missions and huge new station to explore. In celebration of this release and the holiday season, players will be able to unlock two rare ships by participating in special events running throughout December.
