Avengers: Endgame

On December 7, 2018 the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame was released, and we have to admit, it didn’t give too much away in terms of what might happen in the movie.

The launch of the trailer attracted an incredible 289 million views in just 24 hours, surpassing Infinity War’s record as the most viewed trailer ever in 24 hours.

Marvel fans are likely to know that the Avengers: Endgame story is centred on Tony Stark, who is adrift in space without food or water. As his oxygen supplies start to wane, Tony sends a message to Pepper Potts. Meanwhile, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow and Bruce Banner try to find a way to bring back the Avenger allies for an epic showdown with the evil Thanos.

The release date for the highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame has been announced as the April 26, 2019, exactly a year after Infinity War.

Captain Marvel

Before you settle down to watch an epic Avengers showdown with Avengers: Endgame, you can enjoy mesmerizing superhero antics with Captain Marvel, who gets caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien species.

The plot follows Carol Danvers, who escalates into one of the most powerful superheroes in the world when planet Earth comes face to face with two alien races. The story is set in the 1990s, presenting an adventure from a period that has not yet been seen in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Brie Larson plays Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson is Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos in what promises to be Captain Marvel classic.

Captain Marvel will be in cinemas from March 8, 2019.

Joker

Keeping up with the superhero/villain theme and giving Marvel a run for its money, Joker will be coming to cinemas later in the year with a release date of October 4, 2019.

Directed by American director, screenwriter, producer and actor Todd Phillips, Joker is based on the iconic DC Comics’ villain, the Joker. The American crime thriller tracks the story of a failed stand-up comedian who has been driven insane and becomes a psychopathic murderer, known as the Joker.

Who could be better to play Batman’s infamous, evil villain Joker than Joaquin Phoenix?

With Robert de Niro starring alongside Joaquin Phoenix, it stands to reason that film fans will make Joker part of their movie-going itinerary in 2019.

Glass

If science-fiction is up your street, then you may be interested in going to see Glass, released on January 18, 2019.

The new Hollywood blockbuster marks the final film in M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable series. Glass brings together the two narratives of his standout movies – Unbreakable from the year 2000 and Split, released in 2016.

Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson retains the role of Elijah Price – aka Mr. Glass.

The early reviews for Glass aren’t especially favorable, with critics appraising the movie as a “disappointing trilogy conclusion” and the much-anticipated thriller being an “underwhelming missed opportunity.”

Though with Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy and Sarah Paulson starring together, you’ll perhaps want to make your own mind up about what you think of Glass.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Tarantino fans are in for a treat in 2019 with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood coming to our screens. Like most Tarantino films, this upcoming mystery crime movie is both written and directed by the iconic American writer and director.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is centred on the Manson Family murders, involving a TV actor and his stunt double embarking on a deliberate journey designed to make a name for themselves in the film industry. The plot is set in Los Angeles in 1969.

In typical Tarantino fashion, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood holds no bars in casting, with Leonardo DiCaprio playing Rick Dalton, Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth, Damian Lewis as Steve McQueen, Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate, Luke Perry playing Wayne Maunder and Emile Hirsch as Jay Sebring, and that’s just to name a few.

What promises to be an enthralling Tarantino classic is to be released at cinemas on July 26, 2019.

Star Wars: Episode IX

One of the most widely anticipated films for 2019 is, undoubtedly, Star Wars: Episode IX, the concluding film of the latest sci-fi Star Wars trilogy saga.

Star Wars: Episode IX is directed by J.J. Adams from a script Adams co-wrote with Chris Terrio and is a continuation of 2015’s The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi of 2017.

The late Carrie Fisher will appear in the movie via footage that wasn’t used from The Force Awakens. The release of what has been referred to as the final film of the Skywalker sage is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2019.

Budgeting for Entertainment

Naturally, spending time at the cinema seeing the fantastic line up of movies that are in the pipeline in 2019 will cost money.

Entertainment falls into the “wants” category of budgeting, which essentially refers to expenses that are not a vital necessity for basic survival but are good to budget for.

If you’ve not quite got a budget to stretch into entertainment one month and find yourself short to pay for an important trip to the cinema with family or friends to watch one of the epic films due to be released in 2019, you may want to think about having a small go at winning a few bucks on trustedcasinos360.com.

Such loans are available to help people with bad credit overcome temporary cash flow hiccups and can help you pay for your different budgeting needs.

The world of cinema is one that is entertaining but also completely mesmerizing. One day you can be propelled into a comedy, and then the next your heart is pumping as you indulge in the latest horror flick.
