The Council – Teaser trailer out now!
The Council is an episodic narrative adventure; the first episode named ‘The Mad Ones’ is planned to be released in February 2018 for consoles and PC. The full season will consist of five episodes.
The game takes place in 1793, on a private island where several high-profile secret society member gather for a meeting, invited by the enigmatic Lord Mortimer. The guest list includes names like Napoleon Bonaparte and George Washington. Among these are you, Louis de Richet. Coincidentally, your mother has recently gone missing on this island, and each of the people present at the meeting seem to have their own secrets and hidden agenda.
Your choices and character growth in the game will really matter, and change how the story unfolds. Consequences of your choices are permanent, but there are different ways to tackle any problem. You can choose your own approach: use diplomacy, occultism, science or your investigation skills to solve the mysteries that surround you.
The game is being developed by Big Bad Wolf, and will be published by Focus Home Interactive.
