The Escapists 2 – new prison revealed: in space!
Today a new multiplayer trailer released from The Escapists 2. The Escapists 2 is the sequel to the award-winning prison escape game: The Escapists. For the first time in the series, there will be drop in/drop out for up to four players in local and online multiplayer.
In this trailer, they showcase the U.S.S Anomaly, the new home for interstellar inmates. Designed to solve the problem of Earth’s overcrowded prisons, the U.S.S Anomaly makes you dig deep into your escaping skills. The floating fortress is complete with robotic guards which include dogs, jet packs, shuttles and an A.I. Warden.
You’ll have to work around the strict prison schedule and avoid the unwanted attention of the guards. Craft weapons and tools found or even stolen from within the prison, but beware of cell sweeps. Get a job or perform “favors” for your fellow inmates to purchase vital supplies, all while scouting escape routes. In space, no one can hear you escape!
The Escapists 2 will release the 22nd of August on PS4, Xbox One, PC and a Nintendo Switch version will release soon after. You can now pre-order the game on Steam or the PlayStation Store and a physical copy for Xbox One and PS4 will be available from select retailers.
