The Escapists 2 – Release date announced!
The Escapists 2 will officially launch on the 22nd August for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and soon afterwards on Nintendo Switch!
Escape from a hidden prison deep in the jungle, in this thrilling escape game where you need to avoid guards, surveillance, and the illustrious leader, to find your freedom. Escaping wont be easy: the guards are devoted to keeping you inside, and you’ll need to acquire weapons, craft tools and supplies, and choose tactical routes to escape undetected. There’ll be multiple exciting methods to plan your escape!
There are 10 different prisons to escape from, including a frosty Fort Tundra and a train hurtling through the desert! The game can be played both singleplayer as multiplayer (local and online), and players can even join games which are already in session to help out with the final touches of a perfectly planned escape!
The Escapists 2 is already available for pre-order at Steam, for 19.99 (£/$/€). The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from select retailers, with digital pre-orders available soon. Those who pre-order from select retailers will get access to an additional prison, ‘The Glorious Regime’.
This game has been developed by Mouldy Toof Studios and will be published by Team17.
