The first wave of DLC for the Surge 2 is here!
The first DLC for Deck 13 and Focus Home Interactive’s hardcore action RPG The Surge 2 arrives today on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The aptly-named Public Enemy Weapon Pack contains an array of 13 new weapons across 8 different types. These weapons add even more diversity to the expansive and acclaimed combat system and allow for new ways to rip and tear equipment from foes using brutal executions.
To acquire the new weapons, including the Strongarm Twinblade sword and the Codename: Zarathrustra punching gloves, players must delve into the most inhospitable places of Jericho City and track down the one-time citizens that wield them. After finding one of them, players must then defeat them in combat and claim the weapon by tearing it from their body.
Today’s DLC is available for €4.99 but is also included in the €19.99 season pass. More DLC is on its way in December, with new fill sets of cutting-edge gears for your exo-rig. In January, the new storyline “The Kraken” will expand the Surge 2 even further.
