The Marvel’s Avengers game gets a timeline for more updates

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series of movies has grown to become one of the most popular movie franchises in history, with several of those movies being some of the highest-grossing films of all time. The release of Avengers: Endgame in 2019 was a truly spectacular event, as it closed over 10 years and 22 movies worth of storylines, and had some truly epic moments that left audiences amazed and ecstatic. The popularity of the MCU has continued after this as well, with their recent TV shows on Disney+ carrying the story forward, and helping to build anticipation for the next few movies as well. Among all of this, the release of the Marvel’s Avengers video game last year was also a highly-anticipated one, as players got to play as Thor, Captain America, Iron Man and several others from the famous superhero group. The game has constantly been giving out updates and upgrades over the last few months, and we now have a firm idea of their plans for the next couple of months as well.

Before getting into these updates, it is important to note the impact that the MCU has had on popular culture. These movies, based on the Marvel comics, have made the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Captain Marvel household names, to name just a few. At the same time, they have also inspired the creation of various other entertainment and content options. This video game is one example, but we have also seen casino slot games being created based on the Avengers. These slot games, many of which are slots with bonus buy, have understandably been quite popular, and this will continue to be the case as the MCU continues to push out new storylines and characters through the TV shows and movies that it is planning to produce.

Those characters will also show up in the game, to add to its popularity. One of the most common gripes among fans of the game since its launch has been the lack of a clear plan. Only one DLC character was made available for the first few months after launch, and there were no digital events either. However, with the game’s development team having released updates that have removed most of the bugs in gameplay, it seems as though they are now focusing on improving the game experience.

There is a Hawkeye DLC on its way, along with a formal roadmap which includes a sneak peak at several upcoming events and features for the next few months. The April release is the Tachyon Anomaly event, with the Red Room Takeover happening in May. Other events scheduled for later in the year include the Cosmic Cube, Wasteland Patrol and War for Wakanda. Black Panther will be introduced as a new Hero in the game with the last update as well.

The Tachyon Anomaly event will scale Tachyon missions for Power Levels 1-100, allowing players at all levels the chance to participate. It will also allow players to use any combination of Heroes for the first time, which means that you could potentially lead a full team of Hulks, for example, if you so wish.

The Red Room Takeover will be scheduled to coincide with the release of the Black Widow movie, where players will have the opportunity to enter the Red Room with some new themed challenges to take on.

These updates are quite promising for fans of the game, and with more details set to arrive as those events get closer, we can look forward to some more brilliant content on this game this year.
