The Outer Worlds sees its first story expansion: Peril on Gorgon
Going by all the positive feedback, many people really enjoyed taking their first steps into space and playing The Outer Worlds when it came out. Our own review of it can be found right here, but the allure of this story-rich RPG only grows. Today, the first of two highly anticipated story expansions for the game dropped. ‘Peril on Gorgon’ will allow players to explore an entirely new location (together with their favorite crew members of course) and learn more about the mysterious downfall of the Gorgon Project, a remote scientific facility that has inexplicably been shut down. The expansion also means a rise in the level cap, adding new perks and flaws. New weapons and armor sets are also included.
The DLC is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can choose to purchase it separately or buy an Expansion Pass which includes the second expansion ‘Murder on Eirdonas’, set to launch next year
