The Surge 2 reveals its hardcore gameplay in the new combat trailer
In less than a month, people will finally be able to get their hands on the newest installment in this hardcore action-RPG franchise. Coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 24. The Surge 2 will be defined by depth, challenge and your choice of playstyle, which is shown off in the combat trailer.
The Surge 2 drops you into Jericho City, a dystopian sci-fi metropolis that has been placed under quarantine. Several factions are in a struggle for supremacy and dominance, from religious cultists to monstrosities armed with nano-tech. This forces you to adapt to the oldest law there is and that is to evolve. Become better, stronger, fiercer and smarter and take out any enemy that stands in your way.
The Surge 2 will also feature the same awesome limb-targeting mechanic as the previous installment, along with over 80 different weapons for you to use. Upgrade your exoskeleton and execute tons of brutal moves, smooth dodges and even use drones to your advantage. Find the playstyle that suits you the best!
Pre-orders are available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC and will grant you an extra gear pack.
