The Waylanders steps into Steam Early Access June 16
As revealed in the IGN Summer of Gaming showcase, Gato Salvaje Studio has announced its upcoming RPG, The Waylanders, will launch into Steam Early Access June 16, 2020. The Early Access version of The Waylanders will be priced at $34.99 USD and will feature a temporary 10% discount.
The Waylanders is a party-based game set in the Celtic and Medieval eras which explores the mythology in the era’s Spain and surrounding regions. Featuring real-time combat with a tactical pause, the player can combine the party into different formations, allowing for complex combat tactics. With six basic classes and 30 more advanced ones, all kinds of RPG playstyles can be accommodated.
The Steam Early Access version of The Waylanders will contain around 10 to 12 hours of the planned 40 hour adventure, with more than 8 unique locations and over 40 maps to visit. While The Waylanders’ Early Access journey will begin being English-only, additional languages (Spanish, Galician, French, German, Simplified Chinese, Russian) and other features are planned to be added in later updates. A roadmap will be released shortly after the Early Access release.
