Third game in The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes will be released in 2021
Between Man of Medan and Little Hope, not to mention the trailblazer Until Dawn, Supermassive Games is doing amazing in the horror department. But with eight planned entries to The Dark Picture Anthology, they’re not close to being done yet. The third game in the series has been announced under the name House of Ashes and will release in 2021 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. House of Ashes centers around Rachel King, a CIA field operative who joins a military team undertaking a raid on a suspected chemical weapon factory. Instead, an earthquake sends the team and terrorists both tumbling into an underground abandoned temple where ancient creatures are on the prowl. Whether Rachel and the others make it out alive will be up to the player.
