THQ Nordic and Versus Evil will be working together to bring you Obsidian Entertainment’s Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire
THQ Nordic partnered with Versus Evil to globally distribute the physical edition of Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire (excluding the Korean version). This upcoming RPG is currently in development by Obsidian Entertainment for PC, MAC and Linux. Further information on the content of the editions, as well as the retail price and the release date will be announced soon.
In Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, you’ll embark on a perilous journey to hunt down a rogue god and save your soul. You’ll travel the vast and unexplored Deadfire Archipelago by ship, where you’ll discover new races, visit exotic islands, defend your ship against pirates, and, most importantly, choose your allies carefully, as there are powerful factions to encounter at nearly every port. You’ll be able to upgrade your ship and choose from 7 different companions to join you on your quest.
In this sequel, the gameplay, combat, graphics and mechanics of Pillars of Eternity have all been improved and expanded upon. The game also features increased player choice and reactivity, and a brand new companion relationship system.
Versus Evil found a reliable and passionate partner in THQ Nordic, which has the proper reach and enthusiasm to distribute the physical edition of Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
