Toyota Gazoo Racing announces WRC sponsorship
NACON and KT Racing, together with WRC Promoter have announced their partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing as prime sponsor of the 2020 and 2021 esports WRC-seasons. As a direct result of partnership, the winner of esports WRC will take home a Toyota GR Yaris. This powerful car was recently revealed by Toyota and is an appropriate prize for the esports WRC-champion.
The partnership will continue with promotional content for both WRC 8 and WRC 9, the latest part of the official WRC series. WRC 9 is set for release on the 3rd of september 2020. WRC 8 is now available on pc, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch. WRC 9 will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC through the Epic Game Store in september, but it will also launch on PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch. A release date for the next-gen versions will be announced later.
