Ubisoft reveals Operation Burnt Horizon

Yesterday on the Six Invitational 2019 Ubisoft revealed the complete list of content for the first season of Year 4 for their tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege. This operation received the name Operation Burnt Horizon. The test server (PC only) will go live on the 18th of February 2019. This new installment will unlock a new attacking and defending operator from the Australian Special Air Service Regiment Platoon and a new map called Outback. This season also brings a new weapon skin, victory animation and a Onkochishin skin for Operator Hibana.

The new content introduces the Attacker Gridlock that has the special ability Trax Stingers. This mobile cluster of spikes will deal damage and slow enemies who step on them. The Defender Mozzie can use the Pest Launcher that will affect the camera and override the hostile drones. After the hack is completed the player will be granted full control of the infected drone to search for the opposing team members. The new Outback map is medium-sized and is packed with open areas and small corridors. Lots of unexpected corners and turns will make CQB more decisive than ever in this Australian themed environment.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is a fast-paced tactical first person shooter that set two teams of four players against each other in siege battles. Every player has to choose its own operator who has different and unique abilities.
