Valkyria Revolution release date announcement for Europe
Valkyria Revolution, known in Japan as Valkyria: Azure Revolution, is announced to be both physically and digitally launched in North America and Europe in the second quarter of 2017 (April-June) for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The game is developed by Media.Vision and will be released by Sega in Japan and North America, and by Deep Silver in Europe.
Valkyria Revolution is a roleplaying game with strategy elements. This game is different from the other Valkyria Chronicles games, because Revolution takes place in an alternate timeline based on the European industrial age, and because the traditional turn-based gameplay makes way for a new hybrid form of real-time combat and tactical strategy on battlefields.
Five friends who are consumed by feelings of personal revenge cause a terrible war for an entire continent. Countless innocent lives are sacrificed for the sake of a goal that is based on half-truths and outright lies. This “Circle of Five” use their collective influence in their political and military positions to motivate their small, economically blocked homeland to stand up and form a strong resistance against the imperialist oppressors.
